How onboarding works

From first call to a ready itinerary

A clear sequence of steps that shows what happens after you request a travel plan, how long each stage takes, and what you receive along the way.

Day 1-2: Discovery call and travel brief

We start with a short call to understand your travel style, preferred pace, and any constraints like mobility, budget range, or specific dates. You receive a simple brief to fill out, covering destinations, interests, and deal-breakers.

Day 3-5: Destination research and route draft

Based on your brief, we research current conditions, seasonal opening hours, transport links, and local events. You get a first draft with a day-by-day route, suggested stays, and a rough time budget for each stop.

Day 6-7: Review round and adjustments

You review the draft and mark what feels too rushed, too quiet, or off-target. We revise the plan, swap activities, and adjust the pace until the flow matches how you actually like to travel.

Day 8-9: Final itinerary and practical pack

The final version includes a clean day-by-day schedule, booking notes, packing checklist, transport tips, and a list of backup options in case of weather or closures. Everything is delivered as an editable document.

Day 10: Follow-up support before departure

You can send questions about the plan, ask for restaurant recommendations, or request a revised version if your dates shift. This window closes three days before your trip so you have time to prepare calmly.

How to Reach the Planning Team

Questions about a draft itinerary, a specific destination guide, or the order of your travel calendar? Write to info@devenirtravelplanner.com and include the trip name from your dashboard. For urgent changes to an upcoming departure, call +60 10 256 0933 between 9:00 and 18:00 Malaysia time. We usually reply within one business day, and most itinerary adjustments are confirmed within 48 hours.

Response Times and Next Steps

Simple requests about packing lists or transport options get an answer within a few hours. Full itinerary reviews take a little longer because we check each day against local opening hours and seasonal activity availability. If your question is covered in the contact page, you will find the answer there immediately. Otherwise, expect a clear reply with the exact change we made and what you should review next.

How Your Itinerary Takes Shape

From your first message to a ready-to-use travel plan, the process stays clear and practical. No vague promises, just a sequence of steps you can follow and expect.

Tell Us About Your Trip

Share your destination, travel dates, group size, and the pace you prefer. Whether it's a family holiday, a cultural escape, or an adventure trip, we start from your actual plans.

We Build a Draft Route

Within a few days, you receive a day-by-day outline with suggested stops, estimated travel times, and a rough sense of how much ground you can cover each day.

You Review and Adjust

Read through the draft, mark what works, and skip what doesn't. You can change the order of activities, swap a museum for a market, or add a rest day without starting over.

We Add Practical Details

Once the route feels right, we fill in the specifics: transport options between stops, packing notes for the season, and a shortlist of places to stay that match your budget style.

Final Plan and Checklists

You get a clean, printable version with a daily schedule, a packing checklist, and a few local tips that are easy to miss when you're planning from a distance.

Support Before You Leave

If something changes after the plan is delivered, you can send a quick follow-up and we'll adjust the affected days. This works best for small tweaks like a closed attraction or a new flight time.
